ABOUT SAMANTHA

Samantha Simpson-Katz is a NYC-based photographer and Photography and Related Media student at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She began her first career as an ICU nurse in her native Florida.  Photography provided a much-needed outlet for the difficult emotions involved with the job. Over the years, what began as an emotional outlet evolved into a passion and purpose. After exploring many different facets of photography, Samantha developed a proclivity for creative, abstract, and conceptual photography.
